Sterling Travel and Tour has professional tour operators and guides who can speak several international languages. They also have long experience in the field. They are well managed to assist incoming and returning tourists on arrival and departure and by working as a guide to various places of interest.

Vehicles

Sterling Travel and Tour is well equipped with field vehicles that are quite reliable and comfortable. These are Four Wheel Drive Vehicles, Mini buses and Coaster buses. All are in very good condition and equipped with air conditioners as well as all necessary equipments. The vehicles are all insured on comprehensive motor insurance basis and are well maintained for reliable travel. Our drivers are experienced and quite helpful.

Camping Materials

We have adequate camping materials such as tents, sleeping bags, chairs, tables, cooking utensils, gas cookers, etc. suitable for the users. We also provide cooks and cooking facilities during camping.

Regional tourism activity

In collaboration with other tour operators in East Africa our company organizes longer and interesting tours. Combining Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Djibouti, with Ethiopia. Sterling Travel and Tour is placed to extend the Ethiopia tour to Djibouti for a brief drive in excursion at the Red Sea Resort and back. The extension can also be to Kenya by road through Moyalle/Yabelo, crossing the rift valley area from north to south. Tour operators that send tourists to these neighboring countries can also include Ethiopia in their package tour programs, as Sterling Travel will be most happy to receive such requests and handle them. The road travel is quite fascinating but it could also be done by air connections.


Outbound tour

One of Sterling Tour’s specialties is outbound tours. Sterling is the only tour operator in the country that organizes tours on a regular basis. Tour packages are arranged mostly for the business community who travel to attend trade fairs by combining business with leisure to countries surrounding the trade fair destination. From our experience such programs are arranged to cover mostly Far East countries like China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, south Korea, and Malaysia.
